Jake Tkaczyk

Jake Tkaczyk's training began in live theatre performance, earning a diploma in Theatre Performance and Creation from Red Deer College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Alberta. While grounded in performance, his practice has evolved into interdisciplinary performance-making and practice-based research, with a focus on devised theatre, participation, humour, and contemporary performance. He has worked extensively as a performer, director, educator, and producer throughout Alberta and beyond.

Caroline Koebel

Caroline Koebel is an Austin-based filmmaker and writer, with recent retrospectives at Festival Cine//B (Santiago, Chile) and Directors Lounge (Berlin, Germany). Current research focuses on the relationship individuals have to the greater reality of contemporary global experience and the means by which information is disseminated, gathered and assimilated in the Web 2.0 age.

Anne Sophie Lorange

Anne Sophie Lorange grew up in the U.S. and moved to Scandinavia as a teenager. With her bilingual background, she explores the notion of liminality, nostalgia and belongingness. Her narrative invites the spectator into a reflective space between inner and outer landscapes. Her artistic practice explores creative dialogs of liminal space that illuminate a pathway into identity, cultural history and personal narrative through abstraction.

Nancy Messegee

Nancy Messegee is a movement, text, and textile artist living in Austin, where she is dedicated to fully inhabiting, exploring, and delighting in the sacred spaces of body, home, and world within an iterative creative practice. Her current research around female aging focuses on gerotranscendence through autotelic experience.

Jason Bahbak Mohaghegh

Jason Bahbak Mohaghegh (Ph.D. Columbia University) is Associate Professor of Comparative Literature at Babson College teaching courses in world literature, philosophy, cultural studies, and visual art. He also holds a faculty position at the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts (IDSVA) and is Director of the Transdisciplinary Studies Program for the New Centre for Research & Practice.

An Paenhuysen

An Paenhuysen is a freelance writer, curator, and arts educator. She wrote her Phd about the cultural criticism of the Belgian avant-garde artists in the 1920s. As a post-doc An has been working on 1920s photography at Columbia University New York, UC Berkeley, and the Humboldt-University Berlin.
