The Nexus Events are a series of three gatherings each year that sit at the heart of Transart Institute’s research community. They connect postgraduate researchers, artists, and collaborators through shared themes, conversation, and writing together.
We’ve been running Nexus Events for over 20 years, and they’ve grown into an open, flexible space for thinking and making in real time, across disciplines. They’re designed to work alongside other commitments and, where relevant, can also be adapted for people navigating visa or travel constraints.
Each event focuses on a shared theme that shapes how we read, write, and respond together. Rather than presenting finished work, we focus on process, ideas as they develop, and the conversations that form around them.
