TT CONSORTIUM
By collaborating with independent creative initiatives and organizations through TT, you have access to advisors and consultants active in specific fields as well as academics from traditional universities to form your research teams for input specific to your unique praxis and vital connections essential to their career.
The TT consortium consists of non-degree offering independent institutions we partner with. You may choose to work with advisors from consortium institutions if listed in the TT advisory pools and attend sessions and residencies they provide on our platforms for credit.
Your choice of international residencies provides you with opportunities to build a o international community through shared experiences and opportunites to form new collaborations to sustain your praxis beyond your studies at the institute.
Seek Institute
Seek supports community leaders, citizen journalists, NGOs and activists to drive change in their communities through grassroots investigations. Whether you are investigating who polluted a river, how local government is spending your tax money, or the failings of a local healthcare system, Seek can strengthen your research.

TT residencies with workshops and studio time with engineers. Initiated in partnership with New Amsterdam Records and Forgotten Futures, two notable New York-based music non-profits, the Open Residency was soft launched in 2021 under the leadership of creative director Shahzad Ismaily (founder/owner of figureight), production director William Brittelle (co-founder/co-artistic director of New Amsterdam), and label manager James Vella (founder/director Phantom Limb). The Figure 8 Open Residency offers open-ended studio time and producing/engineering resources to emerging artists as well as workshops and studio time in three day residencies.

Wave Farm
Wave Farm is an international transmission arts organization driven by experimentation with the electromagnetic spectrum. We cultivate creative practices in radio and support artists and nonprofit organizations in their cultural endeavors. Based in New York’s Upper Hudson Valley, Wave Farm is a media arts center, media platform, and arts service organization. Wave Farm offers interdisciplinary outdoor installations, residencies and fellowships, and a research library. We operate FM radio station WGXC and host many online radio channels. Wave Farm provides fiscal sponsorship, consultation, and grants to artists and organizations. Wave Farm’s Art Park features long-term installations on Wave Farm’s 29-acres in Acra, NY.

V2_ presents, produces, archives and publishes research at the interface of art, technology and society. Founded in 1981, V2_ offers a platform for artists, designers, scientists, researchers, theorists, and developers of software and hardware from various disciplines to discuss their work and share their findings. In V2_’s view, art and design play an essential role in the social embedding of technological developments.
